Greetings:
We
are in revival this week at Moore's Chapel in Louisa, KY.,
Sunday night service was a great blessing. We started the
revival services off by preaching a message on "God on the
Throne". We expounded upon the first eight verses of the sixth
chapter of Isaiah. I'm convinces that until we see God in all
his fullness and power we are not going to see much done to
reach this world. God truly blessed the message and if you
would like to hear it, you can click on Audio Messages. This
message should be one of the latest. Monday a dear preacher
brother (Darrell Brady) preached a message of "He had
compassion". On Tuesday night brother Link Hogston preached a
wonderful message, these brothers did a great job. I will be
back tonight (Wednesday) preaching, and the pastor (Brother Bill
Short) just called me and ask if I could preach tomorrow night.
I was already scheduled for Friday night, the pastor also said
that he may want me for Saturday night. The Lord is taking good
care of this poor preacher, in all these years he has always had
a place for me to preach his gospel. Sunday morning I was with
the good folks at the Hopewell Methodist church on Joel's Branch
road at Echo, WV. Then we were back at the radio station
at 1:30 p.m. Sunday was a full day, but what better way to
spend the Lords day.
While I'm on the subject of the radio broadcast, we were told on
Sunday, after the broadcast, that our time was going to be an
extra twenty-five dollars per week. I'm praying for Gods
leadership on this, because I could drop it to an hour program.
Please all you prayer warrior pray with me about this. I hate
to cut any time off because we are getting a lot of feedback on
this part of the ministry.
Also, I have learned that Brother Herman Dingess (the web
master of this site) is going to have surgery, please keep this
brother in your prayers. Sometime we get so busy that we fail
to thank those behind the scenes, that give relentlessly of
their time to make sure things go forward. Brother Herman not
only does a wonderful job building web sites, but he is also a
wonderful man of God. If you would, slip him a note thanking
him for his efforts. Brother Herman can be contacted :herman@truewordofgod.org
I hope
everyone has a wonderful Easter, please pass the message on that
it isn't about a bunny rabbit, chocolate, eggs, and
basket. It is a time to remember that the Christ that died for
mankind's sins is no longer in the tomb, but that he has risen.
Without a resurrection there is no hope for mankind, PRAISE GOD
for a risen Savior.
Until
next time, May The peace of God be upon you.
Brother
Gary
